2023 Nissan Murano: Everything We Know So Far

2023 Nissan Murano

2023 Nissan Murano – The Nissan Murano is a medium SUV with seating for five passengers. It was last redesigned in 2015, so it looks like we’ll see an all-new Murano for the 2023 model year.

With the redesign, we look forward to adopting Nissan’s graceful new style featured on the upcoming all-electric Ariya.

It’s a fair bet that we’ll look at more economical engine options and thorough updates to all safety and technology features.

As it stands now, Murano uses a 260 horsepower V6 engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission and follows our better-rated options, including the Honda Passport, Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, and the high-end Toyota Venza.

2023 Nissan Murano Interior

The Nissan Murano scores well in comfort and interior improvements but roads some rivals in its highly competitive mid-range SUV.

Its age is clearly a drawback, but Murano’s limited cargo capacity and impaired visibility have existed since Day One. If you are interested in buying, we recommend waiting for the possibility of a redesign in 2023.

The Nissan Murano 2023 has no significant changes. Murano’s current design has been around since 2015, but it’s still an expressive mid-sized crossover with a premium feel inside.

The 2019 refresh brings LED exterior lighting, new wheels, and leather-lined seating available. With the help of the Nissan Safety Shield 360 driver system became standard on most models last year.

Although his muscular style is not as bold as it used to be, Murano remains unconventionally attractive. Murano has five seats in pleasant surroundings and offers cargo space of up to 67 cubic feet.

Sporty roof lines limit the overall utility. Boxier competitors could carry more, and some offer the third line.

Murano Features

The new Murano will come with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, four USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The top two trims, SL and Platinum, also carry 11-speaker Bose navigation and sound systems. Platinum offers this class a high level of luxury with standard features such as semi-aniline diamond-encrusted leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and panoramic sunroofs.

Nissan Murano Engine

Nissan’s 3.5-liter V6 will remain under the hood of every Murano. The engine produces 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque.

A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) sends power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is available on all Murano trims.

The CVT helps the Murano achieve admirable efficiency for a six-cylinder crossover. All versions are EPA-rated at 20 miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 combined.

The Murano’s towing capacity is stuck at 1,500 pounds, far lower than other vehicles of this type.

Safety

most trims will come fully equipped with active safety technology, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and front and rear emergency braking.

These features are still optional in the base S model. A surround-view camera system is reserved for the SL and Platinum. The current Murano receives a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

2023 Nissan Murano Release Date and Price

Murano 2023 is expected to reach dealers by the end of 2022 (That’s still an estimate because the Current Covid-19 pandemic is still not over).

Nissan has not yet announced the price, but we expect a slight change from Murano 2021, which ranges from $33,605 to $46,705, including destinations.

Competitors

Nissan Murano will face competitors such as the Ford Edge, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Blazer, and Honda Passport.

The Murano Crosscabriolet is one of the most expensive Nissan cars on the market, beaten only by its iconic supercar, the Nissan GTR.

You can expect to buy this convertible SUV from the dealer for about $47,000, but the specs may make you feel less satisfied.

Crosscabriolet offers 265hp and a very small 248 pound-feet of torque. Although the cross-cabriolet removes the back door, it’s heavier than its parent car, the nearly 300-pound Murano.

In addition to the changeable upper weight, the absence of a hard upper frame reduces the structural rigidity of the Crosscabriolet and increases the body roll, making the sing uncomfortable.

As with convertibles, the Crosscabriolet is no exception with low visibility. To make rearview visibility better, cross cabriolet displays not one but two rear windows.

While in theory, it sounds good. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make it any easier to see the car’s high rear deck.

Despite its drawbacks, the Nissan Crosscabriolet has undoubtedly developed its own fan base, so if you crave a convertible SUV, this may be the car you’re looking for.

The Murano CrossCabriolet® is the world’s first and only All-Wheel Drive convertible crossover. It comes with the same powerful V6 and Murano LE’s luxurious interior, but it has a unique look on the outside.

There is plenty of space in the trunk for luggage, golf clubs, and anything else you may need for a weekend getaway. The soft top is even cleverly designed to fold without consuming valuable cargo space.

The standard heated front seats come with a spacious leather-lined interior with enough space for four people.

There was ample legroom at the back so that everyone could sit comfortably. And even with top-ups, rear passengers enjoy soft ambient lighting through unique skylights.
